About Me
I am an Economist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), currently working in the Office of Strategic Planning and Development Effectiveness (SPD), in the Strategic Planning and Monitoring Division (SMO). Previously, I worked for the IDB’s Research Department (RES), the Latin American Reserve Fund, and the Central Bank of Colombia.
I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland (UMD) and a master's degree in economics from the National University of Colombia (UNAL).
My research studies how macroeconomic shocks, financial frictions, and policy design shape development outcomes in emerging and developing economies.
